                             ADMINISTRATIVE LAW

Do you sometimes stand in front of the glass palace of an overpowering authority?

And are helpless ... because "it is a working principle of the authority that the possibility of error is not expected at all. This principle is justified by the excellent organization of the whole, and it is necessary if the utmost speed of execution is to be achieved." ( Franz Kafka)

In public law (administrative law) the citizen is not defenselessly at the mercy of his authority, as Frederick the Great had to learn when the miller von Sanssouci successfully defended himself against the demolition (today the building authority would issue a dismantling order). The mill is still standing today, as I have convinced myself!

There are many facets of administrative law. The building (supervisory) law, the building planning law with the building code and very close to you: the municipal statute law of your community.

The bad news in advance. In contrast to civil or even criminal law, which is equivalent to arms, you are always subject to the state and its institutions, the so-called subordination relationship.

The good news. The state, for its part, is bound by law and order. And as a rule, the way to the administrative court has been opened, on which I would be happy to accompany you.

Here is a brief introduction to the jungle of legal avenues .
